Mick Davis

Mick Davis is a Canadian singer-songwriter & founder of The Novaks. A twenty-five year veteran of performing, record-making, & touring, Mick's music trek boasts of alliances with Steve Van Zandt & opening dates with KISS. His latest project, "Tangled Up In Bob: Mick Davis Sings Dylan", a tour of Newfoundland & Labrador's Arts & Culture Centers, received critical acclaim. Mick is the recipient of numerous MusicNL & ECMA awards. He lives in St. John's, NL.

 

Mick's touring & recording outfit, Thin Love, features singer-songwriter Jill Porter, bassist Craig Follett, and drummer Allan Brake. Together they have shared the stage with Bush, Big Sugar, 54-40, Sloan, and The Wallflowers.

 

The band's latest album, Garbage Street, yielded the No. 1 hit, "Vibrations" (CBC Music Top 20, September 12, 2024).
